{"id":55383,"date":"2026-09-16T07:41:23","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T05:41:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wil.pk.edu.pl\/?p=55383"},"modified":"2026-09-16T07:41:26","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T05:41:26","slug":"change-of-the-facultys-name","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wil.pk.edu.pl\/en\/news\/change-of-the-facultys-name\/","title":{"rendered":"Change of the Faculty\u2019s Name"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As of <strong>1 October 2026<\/strong>, the Faculty of Civil Engineering will officially change its name to the <strong>Faculty of Civil Engineering and Transport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new name better reflects the Faculty\u2019s current areas of education and development. In addition to civil engineering, these increasingly include <strong>transport infrastructure, transport systems and logistics<\/strong>. The introduction of new specialisations, the continued development of the educational offer, and the launch of the <strong>Transport and Logistics programme taught in English<\/strong> are all part of the Faculty\u2019s efforts to prepare students and graduates for a rapidly changing labour market, including an international professional environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The change builds on the Faculty\u2019s long-standing tradition while clearly highlighting the direction of its future development \u2014 modern, flexible and responsive to the needs of a labour market in which civil engineering, infrastructure, transport and logistics are becoming increasingly interconnected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Along with the new name, the Faculty is also introducing a <strong>new logo<\/strong>, reflecting its expanded identity and the direction of these changes. The new visual identity sends a clear message to prospective and current students, graduates, the academic community, employers and external partners: the Faculty educates specialists prepared to meet the real challenges of today\u2019s industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new name and visual identity therefore represent more than a formal change.
