Safety rules implemented by the Polish Government on 25th of March 2020 in relation to the coronavirus pandemic.

1. From 25 March until 11 April 2020 inclusive, people will not be able to move freely outside their living, health and professional goals. It will be possible to move around to do the necessary shopping, buy medicines, see a doctor, look after relatives and walk a dog.

2. Important! People can only move in a group of up to two people. This restriction does not apply to families.

3. Public transport continues to operate. However, only half of the seats can be occupied on a bus or tram. If there are 70 seats in the vehicle, a maximum of 35 people can be on board.

4. The new regulations also prohibit any gatherings, meetings, events or parties. However, people will be able to meet their dear ones.

5. More than 5 people will not be able to participate in the mass or other religious rite at the same time - excluding those who exercise the ministry (however, we encourage you to participate in religious events via television, radio or the Internet).

6. All previous bans remain in force, i.e. restrictions on the operation of shopping malls, catering and entertainment activities.

7. A mandatory 14-day quarantine for those returning from abroad is also still in operation.

The duty hours of Dean and Vice Deans from March 12th, 2020 are cancelled.

The Rector authorities of the Cracow University of Technology decided to suspend all didactic classes at PK from March 11, 2020, from 12.30. Information on the proceedings and the Rector’s announcements will be available soon on the websites of the Cracow University of Technology and the International Relations Office.

The decision of the PK authorities was issued in connection with the recommendations regarding counteracting the expansion of SARS-CoV-2 in the interests of the health and safety of PK social communities and in the sense of responsibility for public safety.
